Racists appear to be flocking to Donald Trump in droves, and this latest video proof definitely isn’t going to impress Hispanic voters.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Donald Trump refused to answer questions from Jorge Ramos, a man who commands a hell of a lot of influence in the Latino community as the most popular anchor on Univision.
Security actually physically forced Ramos out of the room in a demonstration of journalistic suppression that has angered the Hispanic community and embarrassed the Republican Party as racists cheer.
“As a reporter, my job is simply to ask questions, and that’s why I’m here,” Ramos later recounted after the incident. Ramos was trying to ask Trump about his draconian immigration policies that include forcing Mexico to fund and build a wall along the border, deporting all 11 million undocumented immigrants who currently live in the United States, as well as ending birthright citizenship while still holding the belief that all Mexicans are rapists.
But there ended up being another encounter that day involving Ramos when he was confronted by a racist Donald Trump supporter after being ejected from the press room.
The middle-aged white guy (of course) seemed to think that Ramos didn’t belong on American soil even though he is an American citizen who entered the country legally.
“You were pretty rude,” the racist white guy told Ramos. “It’s not about you. Get out of my country. Get out!”
“This is my country. I’m a U.S. citizen, too,” Ramos responded.
Ramos left Mexico in 1983 on a student visa and was later hired by KMEX-TV in Los Angeles. He has been working as a journalist in the United States ever since and became a U.S. citizen in 2008.
But the Trump supporter didn’t listen and continued harassing Ramos by yelling at him to his face and pointing at him..
“Whatever. No. Univision? No. It’s not about you,” he said apparently believing that Ramos was only thinking of himself.
But Ramos fired back, “It’s not about you, it’s about the United States.”

Donald Trump’s campaign has become a haven for racists as they are continually drawn to his anti-immigrant and anti-Latino message. One of Trump’s rallies in Alabama even resembled a white supremacist rally as people in the mostly white crowd screamed “white power.”
Latinos are the fastest growing demographic in the United States, so treating the most powerful Latino news anchor like a criminal isn’t exactly a good way to persuade Hispanic voters to cast their votes for you or the GOP.
Indeed, President Obama captured 67 percent of the Hispanic vote in 2008 and 71 percent in 2012. And it is only poised to get worse for Republicans as their hateful anti-immigrant rhetoric becomes more and more outrageous. Kicking Jorge Ramos out of a press conference for simply doing his job won’t help either, but at least it proves just how much Republicans hate Latinos.
