Family Members Turn On Josh Dugger: ‘I Hope He Gets Broken In Rehab’ (VIDEO)

Pedophile and “family values” hypocrite Josh Dugger keeps digging his hole deeper and deeper. As if the revelation that he molested his own sisters wasn’t bad enough, he was also caught with not one, but two accounts on Ashley Madison, the notorious website whose sole reason for existing is to facilitate marital infidelity. The former is, of course, disgusting, wrong, and criminal any way you look at it, but nobody would care about the latter if the man hadn’t made a virtual career touting conservative Christian “family values” and moralizing on the lives of others, particularly those in the LGBT community.

Well, now that he has been backed into a corner, Josh is off to rehab like any celebrity who is caught doing something scandalous and wants to somehow salvage what little may be left of a ruined reputation. According to The Raw Story, Josh Duggar will be attending rehab services at a religious place called Reformers Unanimous. The so-called “treatment” will consist of the same “treatment” that didn’t work when he was caught molesting his sisters — hard work and Bible readings. Before all of this scandal became the subject of media and public scrutiny, the Duggars had praised the place in a Facebook post:

“They are an incredible Christian based drug / alcohol addiction program. While there, we saw our good friends Godfrey and Launa Watson from Jamaica, too. Love supporting organizations and events like these.”

More religion, eh? When are these people going to realize that this man needs real, professional help, not preachers and a summer (or, in this case, autumn) of hard physical labor? They really are insane, not that we didn’t already know that.

Well, two unnamed members of the Duggar family are finally speaking out against Josh. They’ve had it, and who can blame them? The first family member said about Josh’s fall from grace:

“We are all shocked and broken and furious. Who did we spend Christmases with? Who have we grown up with? Who is this person? This is supposed to be a happy time, and there is a dark cloud over our family.

“Josh’s integrity is gone. It’s scary. You never know who can have a double life. You really think you know someone. Josh was caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and I hope he gets broken in rehab and gets the help he needs. I hope Anna finds the strength to make some changes.”

Well, there’s no hope and help to be had in a rehab facility that does nothing but pray, so don’t hold your breath on that one. And blaming Anna? How typical of you fundamentalist nut jobs. Well, I give you, which ever member of the Duggar clan you are, props for speaking out. It couldn’t have been easy, considering the atmosphere in that family.

The second family member was a bit softer, seemingly trying to stick to the Christian party line:

“I hope and pray Josh gets the help he needs. I believe he is getting that help. We had no idea about any of this. We love our family and we are praying for Josh. Thank you for all the prayers and support of all the friends and fans.”

Well, it seems that at least two people in that cult of a family, and one in particular, seems to at least partially recognize that Josh is a lost cause.

The whole damn family needs professional help. Not the Christian variety they keep giving Josh and failing at, but real, medically approved professional counseling, therapy, and psychiatry. I won’t wait around for that to happen, though.
