Anti-Abortion Fanatics Whine After Clinic Brilliantly Disrupts Their Effort To Badger Women (VIDEO)

As conservative “Christians” protested outside a women’s clinic in Virginia, the clinic made the brilliant decision to troll them with science.

We all know what anti-abortion fanatics are. They are creepy religious assholes who stalk and harass women who go to clinics seeking the healthcare they need.

The women who seek abortion services are screamed at and deal with intimidation tactics that mostly involve having extreme religious beliefs thrown in their faces.

Such was the case outside Tidewater Women’s and LGBT Primary Care. As women walked in the clinic, protesters tried to “minister” to them by blaring a religious lecture through a bullhorn.

But the clinic didn’t just sit there and allow themselves and their patients to be bullied. They fought back with a message of their own.

Written by PZ Myers in 2013, The Happy Atheist just so happens to be an audiobook as well. And as conservatives bellowed sermons, the clinic drowned them out with words from the book spoken by L. Aron Nelson.

Here’s a sample of the recording that burned right-wing ears:

“We are apes and the descendants of apes. We’re the descendants of rat-like primates, who were the children of reptiles, who were the spawn of amphibians, who were the terrestrial progeny of fish, who came from worms, who were assembled from single-cell microorganisms, who were the products of chemistry. Your daddy was a film of chemical slime on a Hadean rock and he didn’t care about you; he was only obeying the laws of thermodynamics. You aren’t here because of grand design, but because of chance, contingency and selection.”

The recording goes on to refer to God as a “lazy destructive deadbeat,” which had to have enraged the protesters to no end.

Here’s the video via YouTube.

And of course, the conservatives outside the clinic whined about it because the recording made it hard for them to preach to women as they walked to the clinic.

“It’s opposition to the gospel,” Jason Sleichter complained.

“We were telling them that their baby was made in the image of God, and what was going on that day was that God’s image was being destroyed,” protester Don Karns explained after filming video with the recording playing in the background. “It’s really hard for us to minister to women because he’s drowning us out with the loud music.”

Women have the right to choose to have an abortion under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution. But anti-abortion fanatics think they should be forced to carry unwanted pregnancies and give birth against their will. They stalk, they intimidate, and they make threats. In fact, anti-abortion fanatics have even killed and committed acts of terrorism to push their agenda.

This clinic chose to fight back, and so should the rest of us. If these so-called “men of God” insist that they can protest outside of clinics, perhaps the rest of us should stand outside of their churches and protest them while harassing members of their congregations who try to enter. Then we’ll see how they like it when the shoe is on the other foot.
