I am a graduate of Ridgeland High School. College student at Chattanooga State Community College. I am the President of the Walker County Young Democrats. I was a member of the 2011 GMEA All State Senior Men Choir. I was the character Aladdin in my school's production of "Disney's Aladdin" and played the part of the Prince during our "Cinderella" production. I am an alumni of LeadAmerica's National Leadership Summit where I won the award of "Most Valuable Staffer". I am an alumni of the Chattanooga Boys Choir (10 years), 2009-2010 Drum Major for my high school, Co-Captain for my high school band, a poll worker for the elections, former member of Key Club International, former member of Student Council, member of the Democratic Party, former Executive Director of the High School Democrats of Georgia, and a proud supporter of Invisible Children and ASPCA. I play the piano, organ, guitar, and trumpet. I have won two talent shows at my school. Gotten the honor of "Most Talented" at my school during my senior year. Was a member of the Ridgeland Chorus where we won major award at Festival Disney in Orlando. I have traveled to 6 different countries including Canada, Ireland, Czech Republic, France, and Britain. I have, believe it or not, performed in Carnegie Hall in New York City with the Chattanooga Boys Choir. Been to the White House as well as our Nation's Capitol Building . Shook hands with Former President Jimmy Carter. Future plans ?? We'll see lol

Republican Governor Cuts Aid To Over 27,000 Children

In Michigan, the Republican governor Rick Snyder has signed into law the strictest limit on welfare ever. The new law will reduce the number of children and adults receiving cash assistance by nearly a fifth, from more than 221,000 to around 180,000. Thousands of citizens will not have any money assistance by October 1st, making many sink lower into poverty.
