Mitch Gilbert is a social worker, writer, and religious educator. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he has done community development work in Washington DC, Cleveland, Akron, Vancouver, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. Mitch earned a BA at Brooklyn College (CUNY), a Master of Science in Social Administration degree from Case Western Reserve University. In addition, Mitch has done graduate studies in Jewish tradition, history, and culture at New York University and the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Mitch is actively involved with the Democratic Party and progressive causes and organizations that advance human rights and protect animals and the environment. He currently resides in Bexley, Ohio.

Stuart Walker, 28, was the Assistant Manager of the Royal Hotel in Cumnock, Ayrshire, Scotland. The UK Mail is reporting that someone or some group of people, decided to beat Walker in the early morning hours of Saturday, burn him alive and then tie his body to lamp post.

Parents of Gay Suicide Seek Justice, Not Revenge

Tyler Clementi was only 18 years old when he took his own life.

In a statement issued this past Monday, the Clementi’s state that this case should not be about whether or not Ravi’s actions were responsible for their son’s death, but whether Ravi was guilty of criminal behavior. To put it more succinctly, Jane and Joseph Clementi want justice, not revenge.
