Robert Katula has over 25 combined years of experience in Congressional affairs, lobbying, public policy, mortgage banking, and business planning. Areas of expertise are loan underwriting and financial risk analysis, business planning, sales, science and technology policy, budget policy and appropriations, public speaking and speech writing, geo-spatial technologies, and veterans affairs. Mr. Katula has a B.A. degree in Political Science from DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana. DePauw was recently ranked in the top 50 universities in the United States by Forbes Magazine.

The moderators and candidates alike are stuck in neutral. The issues they addressed are relevant, but there is literally a whole world that we need to engage.

A Pipeline to Nowhere

The Congress hit a new high on the gridlock scale on how best to fund the extension. First, the GOP controlled House of Representatives passed legislation that would extend the payroll tax cut one year. However, Speaker Boehner and his crew did so by attaching a host of unrelated initiatives, including the 1700 mile Keystone pipeline.
