I would reply to everyone in context but I don’t use Facebook.

I vote that we rebrand “abortion” as “pro-economic early birth”.

We already know that Republican’ts have exactly the same interest in a living, breathing baby as they do for any other indigent, poor, ill, or otherwise helpless person. Which is to say, absolutely none, unless they can find an excuse for making that person’s life harder and more miserable. THEN they act, and act swiftly, to make that person’s life harder and more miserable so the Republican’ts’ obscenely wealthy masters can have a few more pennies from our pockets.

So, if we rebrand “abortion” as “pro-economic early birth”, not only are we ridding the act of the stigma that “abortion” has been given by the cynically power-hungry, the ignorant, and the sheeple, but we automatically rebrand “abortion doctors” to “early-birth specialist gynecologists”, which enables them to charge the insurance companies more as well, since they are now “specialists”. Whoo.

Just think of the power the Republican’ts and the Greedy Obstructionist Panderers have put into our hands. From the hated “Liberal” now springs rank after rank of “Pro-American Patriots”! From the dreaded “Socialist” blooms the image of “Pro-American Rights” enthusiasts! And from “corruption and greed” we smoothly segue into “Robber Barons and Republican’ts”–oh, wait, we have THAT one already. . .

The problem isn’t Christianity, it’s, as usual, people, often select people promoting a very narrow view…so with the generality being presented, an opportunity is also being presented, one that too often is not accessed.

Much is often made of the term, In the Year of Our Lord…often claims of a religious nature, yet it was the common terminology used at the time, much like current terminology. It means little beyond the obvious, a call for recognition of a statement, in the above case a time frame.

Separation of Church and State. So often it is said, especially in recent times, that the meaning of the First Amendment was merely to avoid a ‘national religion’, yet based on Christianity…taking the whole to mean that Government can not influence Church yet Church should influence Government.

A great many of us do not believe this to be true. By allowing ‘Church’ to influence government, there is a violation of the First Amendment, simply because it is ‘one church’ or one flavor of religion…Christianity.

The best idea for us all to subscribe to is…Keep out Government out of our Churches and take those Churches out of our Government.

Absolutely correct, but try to explain that to a religious-right Teabagger. They WILL NOT understand why religion cannot be incorporated into a democratic government(they could, but the Fox propagandists yammering in the background destroy all semblance of rational thought.) And business people only see he opportunity for huge PROFIT – when Mitt sells off the rest of America’s resources (that IS his specialty, after all, Vulture Capitalism. Profiting from deliberate destruction.

Business trains one to treat people as irrelevant, only PROFIT matters. No future, no sustainability, just the next quarter’s financial statement. If you want America to survive as a nation beyond March of 2013, keep the GOP OUT OF GOVERNMENT! Vote out ALL GOP pols. Avoid the civil war that MUST follow a fascist Republican victory.

I again am placing a call to any people who call themselves Christian but hate what the Right is doing to your religion. If you believe that Republican Jesus(TM) that hates gays, unemployed people and Democrats is NOT the Jesus of YOUR Bible, please complain to your priest, minister or pastor. Ask them what THEY can do to stop the hate in the name of their Saviour. That is the ONLY possible way to cool this rhetoric and fervor down (which the GOP wants to keep stirring, they’ve found their hate focus for THIS election – the Godless atheists are going after your religion! Help us show them it’s not RELIGION that’s the problem, it’s HATE IN THE NAME OF RELIGION that’s the problem – JUST LIKE ISLAM. IT’S NOT THE RELIGION, IT’S THE HATERS…

Who’s the domestic terrorists, GOP? The ones stirring up racial hatred, class hatred, anti-gay violence, or the ones stirring up relief for the women whom childbirth would mean continuing the endless poverty cycle? The GOP is going to use religion as the stick to batter the voters this year. If you are religious, protest NOW to your church elders. If they blow you off (young Catholics especially take notice here) go to the regional or national council, whatever is a couple steps up the Church hierarchy. Sooner or later you can either get some pressure put on the evangelicals or get your own church to admit it’s homophobic and bigoted – and THAT you take to the press (or the Internet…)

The church and the repub party are the ones who insist it’s a war on religion.
So I have to assume that they take that very seriously and are taking a warlike stance toward liberals. The rapes and coverups must be their version of an attack. Maybe it’s time to oblige them and give them the war they are insisting on having.

What is the purpose of an insurance company?

If you are a CUSTOMER, they want you to believe that the purpose is to protect yo in case of specified disasters – medical, homeowner, etc, whatever the name of the policy implies.

But the PURPOSE of an insurance company, like all companies, is to MAKE A PROFIT.

And the purpose of the company YOU work for is to MAKE A PROFIT. If YOUR company’s employees eat too much break room junk food and get overweight from it, (or you hire “overweight” people) you can be penalized by higher costs for insurance. This bill enables the employer to avaoid having to pay premiums for ANY employee for ANY reason whatsoever. “You went skiing last weekend? Endangered YOUR LIFE on MY medical insurance? You’re cancelled…” “You ate too many chips again today, Norma. You’re cancelled.”

It’s ALWAYS about the MONEY and the POWER. Nothing else, no matter what the Big Lie to cover it. Look under the hood. It’s ALWAYS about…

So it is VITAL that NRA members FEAR the Democrats, because many of them may otherwise look at their other liberties (and their wallets) and decide to move Left.

The President will seldom create a situation, that is usually a Fox news talking point. So his silence gives the GOP no ground except the usual tired blame-Obama-for-everything rhetoric. It’s a problem because it’s not a problem. That is a problem ONLY when your job is to create problems for the current admin. As it has been for three years now, and the attacks from the right-wing crazies only intensify.

I sincerely wish someone would find a way to sue Fox and get their broadcasting license revoked, and them off the air, that Goebbels-fueled propaganda engine has created an artificial division between our peoples. The Fox Big Lie is VERY similar to that spun by the Nazis in the 1930s, and here we are with the SAME fascist families (Bush, Koch and the others who were war profiteers, selling illegal goods to the Nazis, and amassing huge fortunes thereby) – slavering at the gate, fistfuls of dollars in hand to buy the government.

Don’t let the Fox News bubble make you believe that ANYTHING they say is AT ALL true. Think National Enquirer of the air – or more accurately:

When you own the system from top to bottom, the corruption is too ingrown to repair. It may soon be Tree of Liberty time. That or lose the nation to the corporations, as is currently very much active and nearing completion. If the GOP lies and cheats its way to victory on 2012 (and I honestly cannot believe they can win any other way) then the Faux Propaganda Maschine and the Koch billions spent in graft will have done their job and Kristian Amerika – Heil, Jesus(TM) – has arrived.

However, I can not defend these officers. It was obvious to me that the man was attempting to comply. The police reaction was extreme for the situation.

They either need more training or they need to cease being officers.

Any wonder why people no longer respect the officer? Too often the officer is not a representative of the law, upholding it, but rather IS the law and that we can not allow.

That said, I noted that MN actually voted for him. It appears that since I left the state things have deteriorated drastically.

With that in mind I am opening for donations to return to MN and bring back sanity to the people. I’m already in Missouri and have had to give up on them as a bad job before I started…

Can’t fix Born Again, Redneck, Republican Christians…

I may find myself in need of extra funds, there do appear to be a few sensible people who are either the BARRC or libertarian who will be in need of evacuation when I leave.

This issue is clearly NOT about parishoners. It’s merely a convenient red meat wedge issue. It’s a distraction away from the needs of the country, which is addressing the economy and jobs.

You’ll note that CPAC was mostly about social issues and nothing about the actual needs of Americans. That tells you everything you need to know about CPAC and its purpose.

Obama is a very good example of a husband and father. Because so many of their own are not good husbands and fathers, the radical right is embarrassed and envious. How sad for them.

Their hypocrisy shows even more when they call him a Muslim. Their perversion of logic and fact are so complete that I wonder what color the sky is in their universe.

Instead of supply and demand and individual dollars, consider the flow of money or the frequency with which each dollar is spent. Assign weights to each dollar proportional to that spending frequency. This will give you the economic flow.

Given that a greater economic flow represents a more active economy, you can then quantify the activity of the given economy and even measure the efficiency of the flow. This leads to a measure of the total economic strength in flow rather than in total dollars.

Once you’ve done that take a measure of economic strength and compare it to the shifts in valuation between units for each nation (dollars to yuan, yen, francs, pounds, EU, etc). This should result in the interesting, and entirely expected, result that the strength of the dollar is directly proportional to the total economic flow. (Actually, it should be proportional to the efficiency of the flow, but since the efficiency is directly proportional to the total economic flow the proportionality holds.)

Therefore, you should find that we can measure the economic health of our country directly by looking at the fluctuations of the dollar to the overall world money market.

Once you’ve done that remember that our dollar has dropped from 1.25 Canadian to about 0.9 Canadian over the past decade or two. Our economy has become 30% weaker over that time, when compared to the Canadian economy just north of us. That’s interesting, and not in a good way.

Could you imagine if Elena Kagan had said this? The right wing would be going nuts calling for her impeachment and Obama’s. This would be front page, immediate Fox News Alert stories if a Democrat had said this. But since Scalia is Republican appointed by Reagan, this will go no where in the media or within Right Wing Nuthouses. Look the other way, they are Great Patriots that mustn’t be disturbed. Suppose every woman in America stopped putting out. No nookie until these crass and unconstitutional laws are defeated or repealed. And I’m talking about prostitutes especially, since I’m betting that prostitution is where most Republican’t lawmakers get their main nookie.

Make prostitutes eligible for unemployment, start up unions, and give them the workplace protection that they’ve been due everywhere in America except Nevada for all these years.

And then ALL of you women who are concerned about where this legislation is headed, all across America, tell your men that until these insane people are kicked out of office, and all the legislation they proposed or passed be dropped or repealed, that the only thing your men are going to be able to f*ck is themselves.
