On Friday, March 23, Paul Gattone, the lawyer representing many of the Occupy Tucson arrestees, held a press conference to protest the Tucson Police Department’s recent actions against the occupiers at Vente de Agosto park downtown. Today marks the two month anniversary of the OWS protests. In recognition of that, protesters held massive protests today in New York City. Over 1,000 protesters flocked to the streets around the New York Stock Exchange to protest, clogging traffic and clearly disrupting the flow around New York’s financial district.

In Albany, NY, police are refusing to arrest Occupy Albany protesters, despite orders from Governor Cuomo and Mayor Jennings.

Details are still unknown, but initial reports on the Occupy Wall Street Livestream are that people are being detained inside a CitiBank branch and some are being arrested for trying to close their accounts.

The Revolution will not be televised, but it is being live-streamed right now. Right now as I write, thousands of people are marching through New York City to Union Square. Even as many news outlets dismiss, ignore and blackout the Occupy Wall Street rebellion, the movement is gathering force like a wave that soon will crest and smash on the shore of capitalism.

As the Occupy Wall Street protest continues, police in lower Manhattan have begun arresting protesters. But protesters are not being arrested for disorderly conduct. They are being arrested for wearing Halloween masks.

At a town hall event in which people had to pay $15 to attend, Paul Ryan kicked out five people and had three arrested, all for asking questions he didn’t like.
