The Roberts Court continues to take up cases which risk the foundations of this country. If the Chief Justice has any love, if not for this country, than for his own party, he must end this madness.

The annual report on the federal court system written by Chief Justice Roberts talks little about the courts, and lots about old sailing ships.

‘He’s basically the beneficiary and the author of a new America…a new demographic, a new cultural America.’

The Citizens United decision has allowed foreigners to have a stronger voice in US elections than citizens for the first time in history.

The voting rights act of 1965 ensured that no person could be denied the right to vote – Chief Justice Roberts now has decided that the court should weigh in on this landmark piece of legislation.

Further evidence that the Robert’s Court failed in its duty comes when the decision is used to validate a real marriage license to a fictional person.

But while conservatives lick their wounds, foam at the mouth, or have heart palpitations over the just-released ruling, the rest of us should savor the moment.

If the individual mandate does indeed get struck down, the whole law ostensibly goes out the window. One cannot survive without the other.
