College degrees are absolutely essential to making a decent living, but in the current economic climate, graduates can’t find jobs, or are underemployed, so they can’t meet the payments on the loans that enabled them to get those degrees.

Sensible people would realize they are being sandbagged, and would swallow their principles and pass the thing in the interest of national unity and legislative responsibility.

The GOP excels at three things: starting wars, running up the debt/deficit and lying about the economy.
