Domestic abuse is terrible. We all know that. However, the policy in Norristown, PA could make it even worse if you report it thanks to a new ‘three strikes’ statute.
Since the vast majority of victims in domestic abuse cases are women, it’s not terribly surprising to hear a Republican default to the old right wing stand-by of ‘blame the victim.’
If Republicans have their way, women will be mere property who must bend to the will of men.
