More attention might mean more transparency, and maybe with the interest of gambling people would be more politically aware.

If Iowa Republicans have their way, the state will no longer require schools to teach voting statutes and procedures in high school government classes.

A universal system that puts the onus of registering voters on the government instead of individuals could streamline the registration process.

Here in America, we pride ourselves on democracy. At least, we think we do. However, is American democracy really something to pride ourselves on?

They are protected from taxes to pay for what they receive from us, responsibility to protect the environment, workers and customers, and accountability for the mistakes they made to get us into this recession. Instead of laying out the debt crisis and the problems with the talks, what others have done better than I could, I have laid out what must be done to start the path toward democracy in the United States.

The GOP made a pledge to America back in 2010, which is really just a regurgitation of what they have been saying for 20 years.
