Harper’s Magazine has released its March 2013 issue which includes an index for the first few months of the year. Some of the numbers are surprising, some depressing.

House Republicans could be divided into three groups: those who voted ‘yes’ and meant it, those who voted ‘no,’ and meant it, and those who voted ‘no,’ but meant ‘yes.’

Did they come to their senses or is it a diversion?
