House Republicans Release Slash And Burn Budget Proposal

On Thursday, House Republicans released a budget that targets virtually everybody except the wealthy and corporations. The draft budget proposal slashes funding for labor, health and human services, education, and services for the poor, unemployed, and elderly. This sets the stage for a battle between Democrats, Republicans, and the White House that could result in a shut down of the federal government.

US Medication Shortage Accidental Or Scam?

The USA and a couple of advanced countries, chiefly the UK and Australia, have been experiencing an ongoing severe shortage of prescribed medications. Most of the drugs in short supply are injectable, such as cancer drugs or medications that are needed in the emergency room to save lives. Obviously this shortage is putting innocent lives at risk, in addition to forcing hospitals to buy medications from black market suppliers at additionally marked up prices.
