While Mitt Romney’s fundraising capabilities are being touted in glowing, over-the-moon terms, there’s a Democrat who can match him: Senatorial candidate from Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren.

Like many teabagger Republican wannabes, lil’ Joe is running a campaign highlighting just how manly and drop dead ignorant he is.

Once they had the entire room’s attention, two members of the group, Timothy Tross and Ben Clifford stood up and passionately kissed one another before security could haul them away.

I was surprised to read that while appearing on Fox’s Mike Gallagher Show, Chris Wallace actually agreed with MSNBC that Pat Buchanan was a flaming bigot (my words) and that firing him was their decision to make.

Buchanan, in a move that would make professional victim Sarah Palin bow at his feet, has chosen to take the road so low that an excavator will have to dig him out. He denies that he was suspended, but nonetheless blames the gays and the ‘people of color’ for his suspension that allegedly didn’t happen.

The crotchety old man excuse might work for the family bigot, but when that family bigot has a platform that reaches millions? That is the point it stops being, ‘uncle Pat just being uncle Pat,’ and starts giving a voice of legitimacy to the KKK and to Neo-Nazis.

Does Pat Buchanan even bother pretending to not be a racistanymore? In a book promoting interview, Buchanan waxed nostalgic about a time when Christians roamed freely, a time when people simply called him ‘asshole’ instead of ‘cabron.’ In Buchanan’s world, people knock down doors to take away his Easter ham.

Pat Buchanan is a very controversial figure. He worked in the Nixon and Reagan administrations and has since been a very vocal pundit on behalf of the extreme right wing of the Republican Party. Throughout his long career, he has been a presidential candidate, advisor, political speaker, analyst, and an author. But throughout that career, he has also been a sexist, racist, and a Nazi sympathizer.

On the Monday edition of Morning Joe on MSNBC, Pat Buchanan blamed George W. Bush for breaking America’s superpower status in the world. The often extreme right wing political pundit made the statement the day after National Geographic aired an interview with President Bush about September 11th.
