It would be a mistake, in this time of political intransigence and turmoil, for President’s Day to slip by unnoticed or for us to forget the greatness with which our country has been led.
Romney has declared a new panel of military advisers. Strangely, they come from military contracting corporations.
As we remember those who have fallen in war this Memorial Day, we should also honor their legacy by working to ensure that we send our soldiers into harms way only when there no better options, and that we fully support our troops and their families, while at war and after they return home.
As we pause to honor those in the military who have served the nation, let’s pay them the highest honor by reflecting on why we should stop sending them to war.
