Three days of reprehensible attacks on women and contraception that began when Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a ‘slut’ and a ‘prostitute’ on his radio show have resulted in multiple companies abandoning The Rush Limbaugh Show.
Enter Ronald Kossick. Ronald is a concerned citizen, like many. He decided to go to Lakeshore Technical College, a STATE FUNDED two-year institution of higher learning in Cleveland Wisconsin, way up in the northern area of our state. Ronald was standing on the sidewalk outside the technical college and circulating his petitions. Apparently, someone got upset with Ronald and the police were summoned to the scene. Ronald was contacted by, according to the citation, the Chief of Cleveland Police.
As many people know the recalls of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch are officially underway. These, combined with the wins in Ohio, will set an example across the country of what the people will and will not tolerate.
And that brings us to today, November 15th. At 12:01 AM the recall of Scott Walker, Governor of Wisconsin, officially began. This will be a battle as we now have sixty days to collect at least 540,000 valid signatures, we are shooting for 700,000-1,000,000 in two weeks.
This past Tuesday, the Republican Party experienced a backlash from voters against their agenda. Included in this rejection were the successful recalls of several Republican politicians. And not too long ago, the people of Wisconsin recalled several state level Republicans and intend to recall Governor Scott Walker
Progressives are really good at two things – the internet and petitions. When the two are combined, well, watch out…you have what most progressives call ‘political activism.’
