On Thursday, Democratic Senator Ron Wyden turned his back on progressive ideals and joined Paul Ryan in his effort to privatize Medicare, despite the fact that Democrats and a majority of the American people rejected Ryan’s plan. The pair offered a plan that would partially privatize the popular health care program that millions of senior citizens rely on.
