Let’s call it was it is: bullshit. When it comes to the right, apparently bullshit has no gender preference.

It seems like the only way conservatives can get their points across to each other is to mash two completely separate arguments into one semi-coherent cluster-fuck of words and provocative images.

Republicans are now exploiting and baiting the African-American community in order to continue their seemingly never-ending hatred of a women’s legal right to choose.

As soon as that sperm hits the egg, watch out – according to the pending Mississippi ‘personhood’ law, Proposition 26, a human has just been created and any harm to that ‘human’ would be deemed murder.

The founder of Personhood USA, the group that is attempting to declare that life begins at the time of fertilization, blames our government’s ‘paternalistic’ policies for the fact that there are abortions.

There probably isn’t a more contentious culture war dividing issue than the issue of abortion. One side argues on the side of ‘life’, usually quoting scripture or arguing that they are protecting the helpless. The other side usually argues for women’s rights, that women should be able to make their own decisions. A good way to get death threats and angry letters is to write an opinion paper on the ethics of abortion.
