The Occupy Wall Street Movement, now in its third month of existence is growing exponentially on a global scale and it is not going to end anytime soon. What began with a single person holding a sign in Zuccotti Park in New York City rapidly evolved into an aggressive global socio-economic movement.

Another shameful video has now gone viral on You Tube showing yet another unjustified shooting of a peaceful Occupy protester by Oakland policeman.

When your actions of brutality are prohibited in war zones, you’ve gone over the edge. The Marines clearly know this. The police should certainly know better.

The beautiful thing about OWS is the amount of forgiveness they extended to the officers. They never turned violent toward them. The people themselves are from all walks of life, black, white, men, women, old, young, rich and poor. All converged to exercise our right to freedom of assembly. All rights must be preserved by all or enjoyed by none.

Olsen survived two tours in Iraq only to be struck in the head by a police projectile while peacefully protesting the state of our nation here at home.

Some good news out of Occupy Oakland. Iraq war vet, Scott Olsen, who critically injured by police during the protest Tuesday night, has been upgraded from ‘critical’ to ‘fair’ condition.

In response to this violent act committed by police against an innocent protester and fellow serviceman, Occupy Marines, Occupy Police, Occupy Navy, and Occupy Army are vowing to protect the protesters from those who would commit violence against them.

Iraq War veteran Scott Olsen was hit in the head with a projectile fired by police during their violent raid of the Occupy Oakland protests on Monday. Olsen was rendered unconscious, but his doctors at Oakland’s Highland Hospital listed him in critical, yet stable condition. It is now being reported that Olsen’s life may come to an end as a result of his injury.
