Willard Mitt Romney is the personification of the unctuous, deceptive greed and mortgage bubble lending that lead to the great economic abortion of 2008.

At a recent campaign stop in Pella, Iowa, presidential candidate Rick Santorum (R – PA) made special note of his (and the majority of his party’s) views on economic reform as relevant to today’s socio-economic upheavals.

Republican strategist Frank Luntz, whose sole job is to massage and twist facts so as to neatly coincide with the GOP corporate agenda, is naturally worried about the political ramifications of Occupy Wall Street.

I now realize that it is the most powerless, the most voiceless of our population who have the biggest stake in this movement. They are the ones who’ve lost the most; their homes, livelihoods and their families. And they must battle daily to maintain their self respect. It is only fitting and extremely satisfying that they are the ones who have stepped forward and are assuming these roles in our own little corner of the occupy movement.

It seems like ages ago when I posted a piece regarding the Occupy Wall Street protestor who not only handed Fox News its ass on a silver platter, but had them scratching their heads as they remained puzzled about whether they should ask for seconds.

New York City’s billionaire mayor Michael Bloomberg is considering evicting all of those horrible 99 percenters who’ve put their personal miserable lives of abject poverty on hold, and devoted themselves to marching for a restoration of economic equality.

A surge of re-energized American citizens positioned in cities across the country are carrying out the grassroots ‘Occupy Wall Street’ movement (or the ’99 Percent Movement’) with an intelligent and provoking agenda that invokes real patriotic citizenship – much unlike the backwards Tea Party protests that have done little more than pervert our founding ideals while hidden under the guise of Americanism.

The Republicans are proud. I get that. They are hard workers. I get that. They don’t think of themselves as victims. I get that. I get all of that because I am exactly like them, with one exception. I understand that our system is broken. I understand that money has corrupted the political process. I understand that Wall Street controls our economy.

America is supposed to be the land of opportunity, and it is, but where the bulk of those opportunities go and who they have traditionally gone to in the past is not as much about the home of the free and the land of the brave as one might be inclined to patriotically believe.
