Andrew Breitbart Compares Occupy Wall Street Movement To 9/11 Attacks

Andrew, ‘never met a fact he couldn’t manipulate,’ Breitbart has been on a crusade to destroy the Occupy movement. It hasn’t worked. His latest attack came today, via Twitter.

Occupy Wall Street started up sorta kinda at the same time as the 10th anniversary of 9/11. That has to mean a connection right? It also started kind of close to the 10th anniversary of the Bush tax cuts. It also started kind of close to the tenth anniversary of the Afghanistan war.

September 17th, the start of OWS, was the actual anniversary of events, including:

In 1787, the US Constitution was completed and signed.

In 1986, William H. Rehnquist was sworn in as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. At the time, Ronald Reagan was President of the United States. The Rehnquist Court was probably best known for appointing George W. Bush as President of the United States. Reagan started and Bush accelerated the largest increase in wealth disparity in decades.

In 2009, the New York Stock Exchange President, Dick Grasso, was forced to resign over a $139 million pay scandal.

Maybe Breitbart is right. Maybe OWS did start as a recognition of an anniversary. Somehow, I’m thinking 9/11 wasn’t it though.
