Louisiana Shooter Was a Nazi Tea Partier Who Wanted To Sterilize Welfare Recipients (SCREENSHOTS)

It’s still unclear why John Russell “Rusty” Houser would have opened fire on a Louisiana movie theater, but he certainly is an interesting personality. Houser, a resident of Phenix City, Alabama, has been staying in a Motel 6 in the Lafayette, Louisiana area in recent weeks. Described as a “drifter” who was “estranged” from his family, Houser was certainly prepared for his attack, which left three people (including himself) dead and nine injured.

Houser was seated in the theater “just like everybody else” when he fired 13 rounds with his .45-caliber handgun, according to Lafayette Police Chief Jim Craft, before Houser took his own life. But who is John Russell Houser? Apparently, he’s a right-wing lunatic. A profile on Tea Party Nation, created in 2013, bears his name (though there are no posts):

While this may seem flimsy to some, Houser, who often uses the nickname “Rusty” seems to be a lot more vocal in other places around the internet.

A Linkedin profile for Houser lists him as an “entrepreneur.” He says that he was a “guest host” on WLTZ NBC 38 in the 1990’s, were he ” Invited political controversy on every one of them, and loved every minute of it.” He describes himself as an “Unwanted guest and budget cutter at 7 Columbus Water Works board meetings, and 22 Columbus City Council meetings[millions saved and mega-thousands discovered misappropriated]” and a one-time guest of Doug Kellet’s on WRCG talk radio.

Indeed, he was an “unwanted” addition to the water board meetings:

Superior Court Judge and former Columbus Mayor Bobby Peters remembered Houser’s combative attitude: “He came to many city council meetings and he was in tune with a lot of issues that were going on in the community. He was very outspoken, highly intelligent, really didn’t trust government and anything about government. He always thought something was going on behind the scenes. He came across with a very conservative agenda.” Houser had his own problems to deal with: “He had some legal issues. He was always looking for his niche. The thing he enjoyed the most, and he would tell you, is that he would like to almost cross-examine elected officials on talk shows and in council meetings,” Peters said.

A Facebook profile, which appears to have not been used since 2013, does not have many public posts, but it does appear to belong to Houser, who attended Faulkner University. “I believe you should be much stronger,” he writes in one post. “The end to the modern day Rome comes soon.”

Another post, the most recent on the account, informs us, “The bible doesn’t ask me to like what it says, only to obey it. Death comes soon to the financially failing filth farm called the US.”

This same post was repeated (in part) verbatim on Neo-Nazi web site “Expel the Parasite” in the lone comment on an article complaining about the “the criminal Zionist Occupational Government of Greece”:

And again on ReligionNews.com:

A search around the internet for more of Houser’s remarks does not leave one disappointed. On a largely unused Twitter account, Houser informs us that “The Westboro Baptist Church may be the last real church in America[members not brainwashed]”:

Houser seems to have been most active on DebatePolitics.com, where he describes himself as “Very Conservative.” In one post,”Already 17 Times More Coverage on Christie Scandal Than obama”s IRS scandal,” he complains about the United States censoring “White Rights” groups:

In a post titled “How can you not see what is coming?” Houser lays out his insane beliefs:

It is true that the US is about to fall. I will be in fear at that time as will everyone else, but not in a fear which resembles that of the leaders of foolishness and the brainwashed that follow.Truth carries with it an understanding of death. Rather than live without it,I will take death. My greatest fear is that I could die making a decision for the good of myself against everyone else. The death I fear is the death fools will experience .
Yep. Hit the nail on the head.

“And this is why we’re in the position we’re in. People are fed false information by being programmed as drones from the media,” he writes. “There is NO hope. Nada.”

“That’s odd, most Obama-lovers here hate Israel and love the Pal rocketeers. How do progressives support a Zionist President like Obama?” he asks in another post.

In a comment about the “war on women” — not the real one, the “liberal” one — Houser chillingly writes that “all matters in need of tidying up will be dealt with in summary fashion soon.”

In response to a person who alludes to a future terrorist attack, Houser does not condemn the person. In fact, he encourages him. “If you can’t reveal your plan, you are probably a fine person,” Houser writes. “Keep it to yourself even after implementation.”

On DebatePolitics.com, Houser lists “Golden Dawn” as an interest.

While “Golden Dawn” may sound like a sequel to the popular PC game, Command and Conquer, it is anything but. Golden Dawn is a Greek Neo-Nazi party that seeks to promote a “Greater Greece” (in part) ” through the expulsion of Northern Greece’s last remaining Bulgarian-speaking minority (or so-called Slavophone Greeks) and the Turkish-speaking Muslim minority of East Macedonia and Thrace that dates to the Ottoman period (see Western Thrace Turks).”

Houser argued in a post on debate Politics that we need a group just like that in America:

“Type in WHITE POWER GROUPS and you get mag articles about their never ending claims of racism, and no information of how to find White power groups you might want to join. I could go on for months,” Houser wrote. “My point? Censorship coupled with brainwashing, is always present before the fall of a significant political entity.Put this together with our newly found financial reality, and you’ve got notice of things to come.”

He also loves him some Hitler. “Hitler accomplished far more than any other through “pragmatically forming,” he wrote in a January post on USA Message Board:

Houser also regularly parroted common conservative talking points, like that welfare recipients should be sterilized. On Political Forum, he wrote that “Sterilizations should be mandatory before any welfare payment is received.[permanent sterilization]”:

In another post, he indicated that Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke  is a better man than Martin Luther King, Jr:

In a post on Fellowship of the Minds, Houser wrote that America has become “so sick” that it is the “enemy of the world.” The right-wing “Christian” praised Iran for being “far higher morally than this financially failing filth farm.”

If you’re wondering if the Confederate flag ties into his ideology, it does. A Google map of Houser’s home provides a nifty street view showing the Flag of Traitors proudly waving out front. We blocked out the house itself to preserve the privacy of whomever may currently be living there (Houser was evicted in 2014):

Houser was turned down for a concealed carry permit in 2006 “because of apparent mental health issues and a previous arrest in Columbus, Georgia, for arson,” Raw Story reports:

He was treated in 2008 and 2009 for mental health problems after his wife and other family members took out a temporary protective order against him for extreme erratic behavior and has made ominous as well as disturbing statements.”

The filing shows Kellie Houser was so fearful of her husband, who “has a history of mental health issues, i.e., manic depression and/or bi-polar disorder,” that she removed all the guns from their home.

The order was granted, according to court records, and she filed for divorce in March 2015.

In a sort-of manifesto, Houser posted on Political Forum:

1 Recognize a lost cause. It is too late. The US is oozing the puss of foolishness and perversion.
2 Find a positive way to exert your energies.I recommend laughing as often as possible. Here is something that is truly funny: since I accepted this it came to me that the president is doing exactly what Tim McVeigh did, only the president is much more effective. The way I see it,the faster he wrecks this nation, which in no way resembles what it’s founders envisioned, the faster working people with morals may re-assume command.ie I was for his re-election. I like his spending habits.etc……Truth and death always go hand in hand, and in our brave moments we can laugh. Whatever truth requires, I will accept.
3 Encourage whatever takes us forward. Right now, down is forward.

4 For the few who will understand this, it is my hope that you will see to one preparation for the coming downfall, which will be worse than a Mad Max scenario. That preparation is not storing up canned goods, munitions, etc, but to gather what will be necessary to put in your families food to insure a painless and certain death should the need arise.,if there are no cell phones,no TV,no power, gas,no stores,no police, etc.

5 If you are male, fight until the end, and enjoy it.People are good at what they enjoy, and your Maker would want it that way.

Recently, President Obama complained that efforts to keep guns out of the hands of people like Houser “even in the face of repeated mass killings” have fallen flat, thanks to right-wing influence, calling it “distressing.”

“If you look at the number of Americans killed since 9/11 by terrorism, it’s less than 100. If you look at the number that have been killed by gun violence, it’s in the tens of thousands,” said Obama, who promised to continue his efforts to protect Americans.

There is no better time to pass some reasonable and strict gun control measures, especially in the face of rising right-wing terrorism. Dylann Roof and Rusty Houser are proof of this.
