For those of you unfortunate enough to reside in a viable primary voting state, it’s safe to assume plunging into the Arctic Sea may be a nice respite. From Herman Cain’s bizarre “smoking ad” to Rick Perry’s odd ”gays ruining Christmas” ad, American voters are left to ponder the merits of an autocracy.
Mark Oxner, a Republican running for Congress against liberal firebrand Alan Grayson, who has decided to make thinking people happy by running again, in Florida’s new 27th district, recently released this utterly insane ad. The ad, oddly enough, depicts President Obama as a pirate who enslaves children to row his ship to its demise over a waterfall. The also video features several men and woman on a boat–”The U.S.S. Obamaship“–discussing how “this ship” has given them various benefits, such as a bank bailout and “free health care for life.”
As if that wasn’t weirder than a Bjork video on acid, the video also includes shots of children rowing the boat while a man holding a whip watches closely. Even though liberal Grayson looks more like Shrek than anything else, Oxner’s video depicts him as Obama’s parrot.
“Let’s not enslave our children with debt,” Oxner says, as the boat heads towards the edge of waterfall. “It’s time to turn this ship around.”
Lock your doors, hide your children, and make sure that your pacemakers are working to full capacity…Oxford stated that he intends on releasing more of these ads.

“Weirder than a Bjork video on acid”–that’s a fair assessment of this ad.
Lots of people have complained that just when they thought they’d seen the lowest that Republican’ts could possibly go, they discover that there IS NO DEPTH to which Republican’ts will not stoop. This video is a perfect, but not TOO depraved, illustration of that.
No, wait until they show Obama as a cannibal, feasting on rich peoples’ roasted baby girls, while Pelosi runs the barbecue and Reid and Grayson take turns slicing and serving. Or Obama as a tentacle alien, ravishing a white teenage girl, getting her pregnant, and forcing her to abort that “gift from God”. Or, worst of all the Republican nightmares, Obama abolishing–sit down, please, I don’t want you to fall and hurt yourselves when you read this–MONEY!!!!! And replacing it with coconuts!!!!!
I honestly thank you for bringing this incredible abortion of a campaign ad to my attention, but don’t understand the tone of disbelief in your article. Scientists will, some day, find the ultimate lowest point of the entire universe, a point which nothing, absolutely NOTHING, can be lower than. However, on further examination, those scientists will discover that there is a Republican’t looking up at that point through binoculars, and laughing at them because they were wrong.
There is no lie too obscene for the Republican’ts to tell. None. If it serves, or they can pretend that it serves, or they can pretend to believe that they can pretend it serves their agenda, they will utter it. They want to make, and keep, Americans ignorant and uneducated, because it’s easier to lie to an ignorant or uneducated individual. Not because they believe that this is the best course for America–that is yet another lie that they tell. The truth is simply that the Republican’ts want power, all of it. They want to be able to do–anything. With no oversight, no regulation, no law or ethic reigning their excesses in. They hate our Constitution because it is an effective block to their goals, and want to destroy it; hate our education system because it is STILL too effective at turning out citizens who can tell a lie from the truth; and hate our citizens because we haven’t handed them–yet–the keys to everything.
God help us all.
Right on the money. Except that there ARE (or were) real Republicans who were not like this batch of pirates. This is NOT the GOP of forty years ago, this is the outsourced, bought-and-paid-for Korporate Kongress that has nothing to do with governance. These are simply corporate raiders, hijacking and looting the treasury.
After their success in Somalia, I recommend we send the Navy SEALS into Congress to take care of THOSE pirates.
