MSNBC Host Lawrence O’Donnell Goes Full Boston On Chickenhawk Tough Guy Tagg Romney

In last night’s “Rewrite” segment on MSNBC’s The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell, O’Donnell called out Mitt Romney’s son, Tagg for his incredibly disrespectful comments about wanting to take a swing at President Obama for calling his father a liar.

After pointing out that Romney men support wars but never serve in them, O’Donnell tore into the family with a vengeance, starting off with Ann Romney’s admission that Mormons can fight in wars, it’s just that her five sons won’t.  Then he moved on to Mitt’s draft dodging “mission” in France. Now, it’s true that O’Donnell did not serve either but there’s a key difference: O’Donnell did not support the Draft or the Vietnam War like Mitt Romney did.

It takes some nerve to champion a meat grinder of a war knowing full well that your connections and money will ensure you’ll never go. Even George W. Bush, an infamous draft-dodging chicken-hawk himself, didn’t go that far.

Finally, O’Donnell lets his Bahston accent and body language come all the way out (a rare occurrence) and calls out the pampered prince whose only experience with fighting would most likely be on par with his father’s: a group of kids holding down a “queer” while Tagg cuts his hair off with a pair of scissors.

Here’s the epic video:

Personally, I would have liked to have seen Tagg take a swing at Obama. Then there would have been two bruised and battered Romneys on the stage that night.
