Iran’s President Just HILARIOUSLY Roasted The Republican Presidential Candidates (VIDEO)

The Republican candidates for president are not only a joke, but they are an international embarrassment. The latest person to notice how “laughable” the Republican contenders for the Oval Office are is Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, who has just visited the United States for the first time since the Iran nuclear agreement.

Rouhani sat down with Christiane Amanpour of CNN and discussed his feelings about the GOP candidates. Amanpour said:

“You must’ve been seeing some of the debates in which many of the Republican candidates have said that if they become president they will rip up the deal.”

Rouhani interjected:

“First of all, what is spoken of here in the United States of America sometimes when I would have time some of [the Republican presidential debates were] broadcast live and I would watch it. Some of it was quite laughable. It was very strange, the things that they spoke of.”

Then he said jokingly:

“Some of them wouldn’t even know where Tehran was in relation to Iran. Some of them wouldn’t know where Iran was geographically, not distinguishing that one is the capital of the other. What they spoke of was quite far away from the truth. So, the people of Iran were looking at it as a form of entertainment, if you will, and found it laughable “

Basically, a gentle way of calling some of the GOP candidates stupid.

Rouhani seems well aware that there are many who oppose the nuclear deal. He also points out some obvious facts that Republicans always neglect to say, because they are too busy (dangerously) politicizing the deal to have it as a negative against President Obama and his administration. The Iranian president points out that this is an “international agreement,” with several nations involved.

Rouhani continued:

“Can a government become a signatory to an international agreement and then the subsequent government tear it to shreds?”

Then, making a bold comparison, Rouhani compares these GOP candidates to Saddam Hussein:

“This is something that only the likes of Saddam Hussein would do. So, any government that replaces the current government must keep itself committed to the commitments given by the previous administration. Otherwise, that government, that entire country will lose trust internationally.”

Which is very true. These Republicans, in their attempt to downplay the importance of the Iran deal, and their incessant politicizing of an international agreement to score points with a voting base that likely can’t find Iran on a map, is not only wrong and stupid, but dangerous.
